Alessandra Singh is a recently graduated Thesis student and Drawing and Painting major at OCAD University. Growing up in a very science-driven family, Alessandra did not begin truly focusing on the arts until high school, when she fell in love with it. She works mainly in acrylic, multimedia pieces, and digital work. Alessandra works between her hometown of Collingwood, Ontario and the big city of Toronto (Tkaronto). Her process is experimental, messy, and dynamic. She loves creating art and being outdoors. Alessandra loves and is inspired by the acceptance, the diversity, and the energy of Toronto reflected both in her life and in her work.
Alessandra enjoys primarily exploring concepts of feminism, equality, and climate change.
